Somehow, somewhere between my first football game back in September and my first finals week all nighter, a couple quarters passed and all too soon spring break was over and I was #backatit trudging my way to lecture across campus, too early to function, too tired to start (and finish) three (and a half) more classes.
So here we go. Thirty days in thirty pictures. GO!
sometimes, it is nice to get out without straying too far from home.
whether its flipping through funny books at aah's or stocking up on half off Easter candy, a westwood day out is always refreshing
My month can be summarized in very few words to be quite honest...
food, newsroom, ice cream, nail polish, assorted pathetic excuses of "studying" with food...
we wanted macarons.
That's right, we be classy college students. So classy that I almost want to blog in French. Actually, that might be good practice...
Long story short...
we ended up in k-town
Aimez-vous manger des macarons?
J'adore les macarons.
Elles sont très jolis, non?
and that's the extent of my french for today
but then we took a detour...
might I say, it was a rather delicious detour...
Exhibit A: All I wanted was my fried vegetable bunches ok?
#pakora on #samosasundays
Exhibit B: expanding our cultural taste to southern comfort food #notroscoes
Day 3: buying class
T'was the night before my first midterm, and all was silent. My stomach growled. So I ate a cupcake.
There's just that allure of sprinkles. Whether it is the iconic branding, adorable packaging, the long lines, celebrity sightings, whisper words or vending machine. There is just something about a sprinkle's cupcake that can make you forget that midterms even exist. And ice cream. Well, if happiness and deliciousness had a baby, it would be sprinkle's red velvet ice cream. Totally worth the ridiculous price.
Bringing it all back home. (literally and figuratively..)
<-- THIS. This is my idea of studying. One bite per word written. Or something liket that.
side note: gushi probably puts drugs in their food or something because i swear i can practically feel the dopamine in my synaptic clefts with every bite. is that weird? that was a weird thing to say wasn't it...
HERE! THIS! THIS IS IMPORTANT. Take notes.
"The best meal of the day is (and will forever be) brunch"
that is all.
but what brunch could be complete without waffles?
OR, life gets a little colorful as it did this past Sunday with a school sponsored celebration of Holi, where I was finally able to go after wanting to for so many years!
that...was definitely over 30 pictures. but oh well. that means there were more than enough things worth recording...or it means that i take pictures of pointless things. either way i'm okay with it!
I guess it's been a good month. We'll see what May has to offer! #April2013, over and out.
